Prickles came in weighing 354 grams late September 2008, he was really dehydrated but fortunately he drank the rehydration fluids himself, he was very thin, you could feel all his ribs. He was put on a heat pad and left to settle down, I gave him a light diet and more fluids, but on checking him the next morning, I was sad to find he had died during the night. He had had terrible diarrhoea and his mouth and tongue were full of ulcers/blisters, he also had a sore on his bottom lip. He must have drank or eaten something which had poisoned him. It was unfortunate that nothing else could be done. Thanks to Mark finding him in Bewdley, and bringing him to us, at least he died in the warm and was comfortable.
